During a ceremony held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz to mark a decade of Turquoise Mountain’s work in Saudi Arabia, the Cultural Development Fund signed a cooperation agreement with Turquoise Mountain.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Majed Al-Hogail, Chief Executive Officer of the Cultural Development Fund, and Mrs. Shoshana Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of Turquoise Mountain.

Aligned with the 2025 Year of Handicrafts, the agreement aims to advance the development of Saudi Arabia’s cultural and traditional crafts sector. Through this partnership, both entities will support craft enterprises participating in the Nama’a Accelerators, helping them strengthen their capabilities and improve their competitiveness in the handicrafts market. The agreement also focuses on creating tailored financing solutions that enable craft businesses to scale their work and expand their creative production.

This collaboration is expected to elevate the quality and long-term sustainability of local craft industries and reinforce their presence locally and internationally.

The signing marks a meaningful step in strengthening strategic partnerships within the cultural sector, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and its goals to grow the creative economy and preserve national heritage.
