The Fashion Commission has signed a memorandum of understanding with Manga Productions, a subsidiary of the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation «Misk» to establish a long-term collaboration that integrates manga, anime, and gaming into the Saudi fashion sector. The initiative aims to bring Saudi stories and talents to new audiences locally and globally, in line with Vision 2030’s objectives of developing the creative economy and enhancing cultural exchange.
The MoU is built around three main pillars:
Showcasing Saudi identity through manga, anime, and digital platforms.
Empowering talent by providing training, mentorship, and hands-on production opportunities for Saudis in content creation and fashion.
Promoting globally through joint campaigns and international platforms to strengthen the presence of Saudi fashion in Japan and across Asia.
