The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority «Monsha’at» has launched the second edition of the «Istirdad» (Reimbursement) initiative, allocating SAR 1.5 billion to support startups and SMEs by refunding government fees during their first three years of establishment. The reimbursements cover 10 categories of fees, most notably expat levy, commercial registration, municipal licenses, and patent registration. Registration will remain open until the end of 2026, with disbursements continuing through 2028.
